Principal’s Welcome

Welcome to Solon Middle School! We are excited for the next two years together and are committed to providing an educationally enriching experience. Our school is a warm and inclusive environment, supported by friendly teachers, staff, students, and parents. With approximately 750 seventh and eighth graders from diverse backgrounds, we aim to prepare students to become productive citizens. Our comprehensive curriculum includes core subjects, music courses, world languages, and a variety of electives, ensuring that every student can find their passion and develop into a well-rounded individual.

At Solon Middle School, we believe in the importance of extracurricular activities, such as sports, music ensembles, academic organizations, and clubs, which foster individual growth and teamwork. We prioritize creating a safe and respectful environment that values differences and encourages all students to succeed. Our teaching approach focuses on building positive relationships with students, catering to their unique needs and abilities. We look forward to partnering with families and the community to support our students during these formative years.
